My last blog just talked about breathing as a means of focusing on the future, or at least the next moment, during my major depressions. I did not do yoga at the time, but do it now to give me a time during the day to focus on my body and get some exercise. Before I started doing it, I never realized how much it builds strength. I usually follow an online video on YouTube by Adrienne. The subscription is free and I find her routines quite doable. While choosing one the other day I found she had a sessions of Yoga for Depression and tried it. It is for a day when you are down, not totally collapsed. I tried it and it was nice and so I would recommend it if you have a day when it would feel good to be kind to yourself.
